What is Korplex®?
Korplex® Technology is an engineered yarn created by blending some of the strongest fibers available, resulting in a material thatoffers exceptional cut resistance. Alycore™ is a patented technology made from ultra-thin threads of iron and carbon, offering best-in-class resistance to cuts, punctures, and even hypodermic needles, without sacrificing flexibility or comfort.
Tested Beyond the Standard
Majestic measures Alycore™ gloves with the ASTM F2878 Standard, testing the gloves by forcing a 25-gauge syringe needle through the material at a fixed speed. This measures the material’s resistance to other common punctures not addressed by the EN388 standard, including glass fragments, wire, metal shards, and wood splinters.
